Dan Forsyth enters his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Pioneers. He was an active player for the Pioneers from 2007-09, including the 2009 National Championship team.
       
“We are excited Dan will be working with us again,” says head coach John Jez.  “Dan works with our younger players and has helped set the framework for their success.” 
       
Forsyth’s primary responsibility will be with the defense and faceoff unit, and will help with the development of the younger members of the team.

In 2013, the LIU Post faceoff unit won more than 50 percent of the draws taken.
       
Forsyth completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Management at LIU Post. He coaches several youth teams during the summer, including the Minnesota LaxLoon and resides in Merrick, N.Y.
