Michael Babich is entering his second season as the tight ends coach with LIU Post. Babich comes to Brookville by way of Mount Ida College, where he spent four years as a tight end and long snapper with the Mustangs.

A 2014 graduate from Mount Ida, Babich was a three-time nominee to the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference's Academic All-Conference Team. He was a second-team All-ECFC honoree in 2012 and received first-team All-ECFC accolades in 2013.

In his career with the Mustangs, Babich registered the sixth-best yards-per-catch average in program history (16.67). His mark of 20.8 yards-per-catch in the 2013 season is the third-best single-season average in Mount Ida football history.

Babich also received the esteemed honor of being named to the 2014 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society for his scholastic achievements in the classroom.
