Mychael Fabio is in his first season as a sprints coach with the LIU Post cross country and track and field programs in 2014-15.

He graduated from Adelphi University in May 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Fabio is presently pursuing a master's degree in the same field of study at Adelphi.

In his undergraduate days, Fabio was a student-athlete at Adelphi who broke numerous school records and acquired many accolades for his performances in the 200-, 400- and 500-meter dash events. He was also a two-time All-American and a four-time NCAA Division II National Championship qualifier.
 
After his collegiate career, Fabio was invited to compete in several first-rate competitions, including the Adidas Grand Prix, where he captured a meet record, and an international circuit that saw him run alongside of world-class athletes, such as Olympic gold medalist Reggie Dixon.
 
Fabio resides in Huntington, N.Y., where he continues to train and compete on a high level.
