David Stapleton, a native of Scotland, brings over 10 years of coaching experience to the staff.

Stapleton graduated with a degree in Sports Studies from the University of Edinburgh in 1999. He played collegiately for four years on the University men’s soccer First Team, and also played semi-professionally in the East of Scotland Premier League.

Stapleton currently holds his NSCAA Premier / USSF ‘B’ & NSCAA National Goalkeeping Coaching licenses, and has coached at the High School, Club & ODP levels for a number of years. Additionally, he is also a staff instructor for the LIJSL/NSCAA Coaching Academy, offering licenses to local soccer coaches.

Stapleton is a full-time director for Future Stars summer camps, and oversees year round summer camp operations on Long Island for various sports-specific weekly camp programs offered in Old Westbury (Nassau) & Farmingdale (Suffolk).
