Field Hockey Tabbed Ninth In NFHCA Weekly Poll

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 21, 2008) – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association released its weekly coaches poll and has tabbed C.W. Post ninth, up one spot from last week, it was announced on Tuesday.

Bloomsburg received the largest amount of points and first place votes, but the vote was close as Indiana (Pa.) recieved only one fewer vote and two fewer first place votes then the defending national champion Huskies.  Shippensburg,  University of Massachusetts Lowell and Kutztown rounded out the top five, while Bentley took sixth and East Stroudsburg was tabbed seventh.  Southern Connecticut was eighth, and Stonehill rounded out the top ten. 

The Pioneers will take to the road  on Oct. 22 at East Stroudsburg at 4 p.m.
