Yacenda Named Women's Soccer Assistant Coach

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (July 24, 2008) - C.W. Post women's soccer head coach Mark Dawson has named former Pioneer goalkeeper Kim Yacenda (Greenlawn, N.Y.) as an assistant coach.
Yacenda, a 2008 graduate, capped off her four-year career by posting a 0.37 goals against average this season. She made 59 saves in 1,708 minutes for a save percentage of .894. Her 2007 record between the pipes was 16-1-3. Her performance was good enough to merit an Honorable Mention as a 2007 All-American.
The Greenlawn native improved in each of her four seasons at C.W. Post, building a career resume that featured a 36-8-6 record, 26 shutouts and a 0.52 goals against average. She holds several program goalkeeping records, including all-time saves (228), wins, and shutouts.
