KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 16, 2008) –
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its Division II Preseason poll and has ranked the C.W. Post women's soccer team 15th overall in the 25-team poll.  The Pioneers are the only team in the East Coast Conference to receive a preseason ranking.

The Pioneers, under the tutelage of first-year coach Mark Dawson, return after a 17-1-3 season in which they captured the East Coast Conference title and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championships in Albany, N.Y.

C.W. Post opens its season on Aug. 29 against College of the Saint Rose in the Nike Kickoff Classic and will open conference play at Adelphi University on Sept. 13.
