Field Hockey Selected Eighth In NFHCA Preseason Poll
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Aug. 26, 2008) – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association released its preseason coaches poll and has tabbed C.W. Post eighth, it was announced on Tuesday.
Defending national champion, Bloomsburg, received the largest amount of votes while runner-up University of Massachusetts Lowell was second. Indiana (Pa.), Shippensburg and Kutztown rounded out the top five in the poll.
Head coach
Raenee Savin and the Pioneers finished the 2007 season with a 16-4 record and will begin playing this season as a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
