Whitehouse Nets Two As Men's Soccer Runs Past TCNJ, 3-0

EWING, N.J. (Sept. 17, 2008) –
Junior forward Mark Whitehouse netted two goals in the second half to lead C.W. Post past The College of New Jersey, 3-0, in men's soccer action Wednesday evening.
C.W. Post improves to 3-3 overall while the Lions drop to 4-3-1.
The Pioneers outshot the Lions by a 13-9 count while each team was awarded four corner kicks on the game.
Whitehouse's first goal was scored unassisted in the 48th minute. He scored the second goal in the 79th minute on a cross pass from freshman midfielder
David Carlsson (Gothenburg, Sweden) into the bottom left corner of the goal.
Carlsson helped his own cause with the game's third goal in the 84th minute on a pass from sophomore midfielder Joe O'Rourke (London, England).

Ayrton Haddad (Scarsdale, N.Y.) made five saves in 45 minutes to preserve the win for the Pioneers. TCNJ goalkeeper Chris Kulick made five stops in the game.
C.W. Post will host Briarcliffe College on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m.
