Felician Shuts Out Men's Soccer, 2-0

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 3, 2008) –
The Pioneers lost a tough fought battle on Wednesday afternoon as they dropped a non-conference match to Felician College by a 2-0 score.
The loss drops C.W. Post to 0-3 on the season, while Felician moves to 2-1.
Quincy Small got the Golden Falcons on the board in the 35th minute on a shot past goalkeeper Demetrios Touros (Astoria, N.Y.)  from 20 yards out. 
Conrad Symber doubled the lead for the Golden Falcons when he took a deflection from a Pioneer defender and floated it over Touros' head from 25 yards out.
The Pioneers were outshot 11-0 and Felician held a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
Touros made one save in the first half, and Ayrton Haddad (Scarsdale, N.Y.) made two saves in the second half.
Felician goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos made three saves in the shutout.
The Pioneers return to the field on Sept. 6 as they host Bloomfield in a noon non-conference matchup.
