Carlsson, Haywood Earn All-Conference Honors

David Carlsson (Gothenburg, Sweden) and freshman back
Leron Haywood (Rosedale, N.Y.) were named to the 2009 East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Second Team, and first-year head coach
Andreas Lindberg was selected as the conference's coach of the year.
Carlsson, named to the All-Conferece team for the second straight year, played in 17 games with 15 starts for the Pioneers, scoring four goals with one assist for nine total points.
Haywood was a standout defender for the Pioneers in his rookie season, playing in 17 games with 16 starts. The freshman tallied one goal on the season, coming against Bloomfield, and he also earned ECC Tournament MVP in last weekend's ECC Championship Tournament.
Lindberg was named Coach of the Year after leading the Pioneers to a share of the ECC Regular Season Title, an ECC Championship Title, and a 12-5-2 record in just his first season at the helm of C.W. Post.
