Dahlin Tabbed ECC Offensive Player Of The Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 27, 2009)- The East Coast Conference released its weekly report Monday afternoon, naming C. W. Post sophomore forward Niclas Dahlin (Kungaly, Sweden) Offensive Player of the Week. The honors come after Dahlin helped the Pioneers defeat Caldwell College, 3-2, Thursday afternoon.
Dahlin scored his first two goals of the season as the Pioneers defeated the Caldwell Cougars Thursday afternoon. He tied the game 1-1 fifteen minutes into the second half as he sent a 10-yard shot past the Cougars goalkeeper. After both teams connected for goals, tying the game once again, Dahlin blasted a 25-yard shot in the 79th minutes to notch the game winning tally and secure a 3-2 C.W. Post victory.
C.W. Post is back in action September 30 as they host the University of New Haven at 4 p.m.
