BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 30, 2009) – Millersville University scored three unanswered goals late in the second half to rally past the C.W. Post field hockey team on Wednesday afternoon on Hickox Field in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East action.
The Marauders improve to 5-5 overall and 2-3 in PSAC play, while C.W. Post slips to 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
Millersville wasted little time in scoring first as Kristie Testa took advantage of a rebound off the goal pads, scoring 2:55 into play on a feed from Emily Woodland.
C.W. Post evened the score when

Coming out of halftime still tied at 1-1, the Pioneers executed a corner to perfection as DeRosa slid a pass to the dead center of the circle.
Krystal Napolitano (Coram, N.Y.) stopped the pass and set up the play for
Amanda Miller (Newton, N.J.), who lofted a shot into the upper left corner for the lead.
C.W. Post could not make the lead stand, however, as Krista Bupp came on to score on a penalty stroke at 53:08, and two unassisted goals in just over two minutes by Melisa McCarthy and Ashley Weber at 63:41 and 65:51 put the Marauders on top for good.
Junior goalie

C.W. Post held a 17-12 edge in shots taken, and Millersville took 11 corners to the Pioneers' 10.
