Kris Frick Honored As ECC Scholar-Athlete Of The Year

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 29, 2010) Senior Defender Kris Frick (Bermuda) from C.W. Post has been tabbed the East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year. 
 
Frick, who also serves as vice-president of the C.W. Post Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), captained the Pioneers, leading them to the ECC Championship title and an overall record of 12-5-1. Frick played in 12 games on the back line, starting 11, and tallied one assist before suffering an injury halfway through the season. Frick has also represented his home country of Bermuda at both the youth and senior international levels. A computer science major, Frick currently holds an impressive 3.93 GPA. 
 
East Coast Conference Scholar-Athlete of Year Awards are nominated by their institution and voted upon by the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each ECC institution.
