Tennis Faces Setback against Queens
FLUSHING, N.Y. (Sept 22, 2010) – The C.W. Post tennis team came across a setback this afternoon as they were swept by Queens College, 9-0. The Pioneers were swept 3-0 in doubles competition and additionally 6-0 in single matches.
Freshman
Dorine Sousa was able to play Queens freshman Kim Xiong (Flushing, N.Y.) to a tight first set, however, would end up falling in both sets.
The tennis team will return to action tomorrow on the campus of C.W. Post against conference foe Dowling in a 3 p.m. match.
