Field Hockey Qualifies For PSAC Tournament; Pioneers Will Face West Chester In First Round
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 23, 2011) – The C.W. Post field hockey earned a spot in the six-team Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference tournament.
The Pioneers, who play in the ultra-competitive East division, qualified as the No. 3 seed behind No. 1 Bloomsburg and No. 2 West Chester. The top team in each division receives a first-round bye, which sets up C.W. Post to play at West Chester on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. The winner will advance to play Bloomsburg on Friday.

Raenee Savin, is playing in its first-ever conference tournament. The Pioneers joined the PSAC in 2008.

* Tickets to the PSAC Quarterfinal round field hockey match at Vonnie Gros Field are $7 for adults and $2 for students and children. Students from the competing institutions with a valid school ID will be admitted free. Only PSAC passes will be honored at the gate.
