ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Oct. 30, 2011) – Senior midfielder Tove Eriksson (Helsingborg, Sweden) scored the tying goal with nine seconds left in regulation, and Alexa Niciforo (East Islip, N.Y.) scored the game winner in the second overtime to lead to a 2-1 2OT victory for the C.W. Post women's soccer team over the Molloy Lions in the East Coast Conference final game of the regular season.

C.W. Post improves to 9-5-1 and 5-2 in the ECC, while Molloy slid to 9-8 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

Allison Sloper scored an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute, forcing a defensive turnover and putting a one-v-one shot into the left corner.

Eriksson's goal came with nine seconds remaining on the fourth consecutive corner for the Pioneers, as she curved it into the right corner.

After a scoreless first OT period, the Pioneers kept the pressure on and it paid off as the offense caught the Molloy GK out of the goal, and Heidi Eikeland (Kragero, Norway) dribbled past the defense and slid a short pass to Niciforo, who bumped it in for the golden goal.

Nicole Fierro (East Hampton, N.Y.) made three stops to earn the win in goal, while Nicole DellaPorta stopped seven shots in the effort for Molloy.

The Pioneers earn the #3 seed in the upcoming ECC Championships, and will face #2 Dowling on Thursday at 4 p.m. in Oakdale, N.Y.
