No. 9 Men's Soccer Shuts Out Molloy, 2-0
Box Score ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Oct. 30, 2011) – Ninth-ranked C.W. Post men's soccer closed out the regular season with a 2-0 blanking of the Molloy Lions in East Coast Conference action on Sunday evening.
The Pioneers close out the regular season with a 15-1-1 record and 6-0-1 slate in conference play, while Molloy finishes with a final record of 2-14-1, 1-5-1 in ECC action. The Pioneers will be the top seed in the upcoming ECC Championships, set to begin on Wednesday.

Kevin Miny (Vielsalm, Belgium) got the Pioneers on the board in the 35th minute when he took a low cross from junior midfielder
Andreas Olson (Oppeid, Norway) and sent a close-range shot into the lower right corner.
In the second half, less than 30 seconds after checking into the game,
Cemil Turan (Staten Island, N.Y.) took a thru-ball and dribbled upfield, beating two defenders and beating the Molloy keeper to the lower right corner for a 2-0 lead.
C.W. Post goalkeeper
Marco Jorgensen (Copenhagen, Denmark) made a season-high nine stops to earn his 15th victory of the season. Molloy keeper Michael Hunter stopped five shots for the Lions.
The top-seeded Pioneers will face #4 Queens College in Wednesday's East Coast Conference semi-final game, hosted by the Pioneers at 2:30 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.
