Men's Soccer Up Two Spots in NSCAA Poll to No. 6
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 4, 2011) - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its weekly poll, ranking C.W. Post men's soccer at No. 6, up two spots from last week.
C.W. Post remained unbeaten on the season, as the Pioneers defeated Dowling 5-1 on Saturday night, improving to 9-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. C.W. Post got two goals apiece from
Andreas Olson and
Eivind Austboe, with
Arlind Nika rounding out the scoring with one score.
Marco Jorgensen was solid in the net with seven saves. The Pioneers will host Millersville this week on Wednesday at 4 p.m., followed by St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
