Dragon Selected Womensfieldhockey.com Offensive MVP; Bruckner, Wilson Named All-America

Carlee Dragon (Bridgewater, N.J.) was named the womensfieldhockey.com Offensive MVP as well as First Team All-America. In addition, senior defender
Helene Bruckner (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) was named to the Second Team and freshman forward
Lyn-Marie Wilson (St. Michael's, Barbados) was named to the All-Rookie Team.
Dragon was a part of 55% of her team's goals in 2011, helping the Pioneers to the semifinals of the PSAC tournament and a consistent presence in the rankings. She averaged just under three points a game and ranked second nationally in goals and points per game.
Bruckner started in all 18 games and was second in points behind Dragon with 11 goals and seven assists. Wilson played in all 18 games and made 16 starts. She recorded four goals and five assists for the Pioneers.
C.W. Post finished the season with a 10-8 overall record and 4-6 conference mark. The Pioneers qualified for the six-team PSAC Championships for the first time ever and recorded a 2-1 double overtime win over eventual national champion, West Chester, in the quarterfinal round.
