BALTIMORE, MD. (February 14, 2011) – Coming off back-to-back NCAA Championship Titles, the C.W. Post Men's Lacrosse team has been selected first in yet another preseason poll.

The Pioneers received 106 points, with seven first place votes, to top the USILA Division II Coaches Poll, which was released by InsideLacrosse.com today. Finishing behind C.W. Post in the poll is the team that the Pioneers defeated in the past two NCAA Championships, the LeMoyne Dolphins. The Dolphins received 99 voting points, including two first place votes.

New York Institute of Technology and Dowling College also represented the East Coast Conference in the poll, as the two teams finished fifth and sixth respectively.

New to the poll this year was that the coaches voted for 12 teams, instead of the 10 voted for in previous years.
