Giordano Named ECC Co-Goalkeeper Of The Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Feb. 28, 2011) – Senior goalkeeper Mike Giordano (Farmingdale, N.Y.) received the season's first East Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Week honor, the conference announced Monday.
Giordano, who shares the honor with Mercy's T.J. DiCarlo, is 5-0 this season and has a 3.15 goals against average. He made 10 saves in the season opener against Notre Dame de Namur and has compiled 24 saves and a .667 save percentage through five games.
C.W. Post (5-0, 1-0 ECC) will face Seton Hill this Saturday at 1 p.m.
