Undefeated Week Keeps Men's Lacrosse No. 1 In USILA Poll
PERRY, N.Y. (March 15, 2010) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team hung on to first place in this week's USILA coaches poll after defeating eighth-ranked Bentley, 6-3, on Saturday. The Pioneers remain perfect with a 7-0 record.
Limestone moved up on spot to second this week while Dowling moved up from fourth to third. LeMoyne remained fourth while Merrimack moved up one spot to fifth. Mercyhurst, who was second last week, dropped to sixth after a loss to Chestnut Hill. Mars Hill and Bentley stayed put at seventh and eighth while Mercy climbed two spots to share the eighth spot with Bentley. Queens (N.C.) moved up one spot to 10th while Adelphi fell three spots to 11th. Catawba stayed at 12th.
C.W. Post hosts two non-conference games on Hickox Field this week, beginning with Saint Anselm on Wednesday (4 p.m.) and Saint Michael's on Saturday (12 p.m.).
