Aiken Adds ECAC Player of the Year to her Career Accomplishments

CENTERVILLE, MASS. (March 29, 2011) – After earning ECC Player of the Year for the second straight year, senior guard Janea Aiken (St. Albans, N.Y.) has also been named the ECAC Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Year. 
Aiken earns the award on the back of leading the C.W. Post women's basketball team to the NCAA Division II Tournament after earning an automatic bid with a victory in the ECC Tournament Final. 
Aiken also earned a 2011 Daktronics Inc. East Region First Team Selection on top of her ECC Player of the Year Award. The senior averaged 17.8 points per game and pulled down 4.3 rebounds a game. Aiken finished with 1,014 points in her two-year career at C.W. Post.
