Men's Lacrosse Ranked Third In USILA Poll; First In NCAA Central Region

PERRY, N.Y. (April 14, 2011) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team is ranked third overall in this week's USILA coaches poll. In addition, the Pioneers are ranked first in the NCAA Central regional poll.
 
The Pioneers are third in the USILA poll for the second straight week after edging out Mercyhurst at home, 4-3. Limestone continues to hold the top spot in the poll with an undefeated 11-1 record. 
 
Mercyhurst and Dowling are each tied for fourth while Mercy and Adelphi remained sixth and seventh, respectively. NYIT also stayed eighth while Mars Hill moved up three spots to ninth. Merrimack dropped one spot to 10th and Pfeiffer and Bentley enter this week's poll ranked 11th and 12th.
 
C.W. Post (12-1, 5-1 ECC) will host Lake Erie this Saturday at 12 p.m. on Hickox Field.
