Men's Lacrosse Stays Third In USILA Poll

PERRY, N.Y. (April 19, 2011) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team remained in No. 3 spot in this week's USILA coaches poll after a 2-0 week against Wheeling Jesuit and Lake Erie.
 
The Pioneers (13-1, 6-1 ECC) captured a 14-3 road win against Wheeling Jesuit last Wednesday and closed out the week at home with a 15-5 win against Lake Erie.
 
Limestone maintained its status as the top of the poll with a perfect 14-0 record while LeMoyne was ranked second.
 
Mercyhurst remained fourth from last week while Dowling dropped one spot to fifth. Adelphi and Mercy flip flopped spots with the Panthers taking sixth and the Mavericks seventh. NYIT remained eighth and Merrimack moved up to ninth. Pfeiffer climbed one spot to 10th and Catawba and Saint Michael's entered the poll ranked 11th and 12th, respectively.
 
C.W. Post is in action on Saturday, April 23 at Mercy College.
