Softball Climbs To 9th In Final NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (June 1, 2011) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its final top 25 poll of 2011 and C.W. Post has moved up to ninth.
UC-San Diego was the top team in the poll after winning the NCAA Division II World Series on Monday against Alabama-Huntsville in Salem, Va.
C.W. Post captured its third NCAA East title in five seasons (2007, 2008, 2011) to advance to the World Series against the remaining eight teams in the NCAA tournament . The Pioneers closed out the season with a 41-16 overall record.
