Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 17, 2011) – Eirik Bjoernoe (Randaberg, Norway) scored both of his goals off penalty kicks, and Eivind Austobe (Stavanger, Norway) added an insurance goal late in the game, giving the 15th-ranked C.W. Post men's soccer team its sixth straight victory on Saturday afternoon.

C.W. Post improves to 6-0 as Stonehill dips to 3-2 overall.

Ross McWilliams got the Skyhawks on the board with a solo tally just 4:51 into the contest.  A Stonehill pass deflected off a Pioneer defender and caught goalkeeper Marco Jorgensen (Copenhagen, Denmark) just off his line, but enough that McWilliams was able to put home the one-yard shot.

But C.W. Post steadied itself and fought back, seeing several offensive chances including a shot by Andreas Olson (Oppeid, Norway) that hit the post.  A foul in the box in the 33rd minute gave the Pioneers a penalty kick, and Bjoernoe went to the lower left corner, knotting the game at 1-1.

The tie would last through halftime and fifteen minutes into the second half, until a handball in the box by the Skyhawks gave the Pioneers another PK.  Bjoernoe went lower left again, beating the diving effort of Stonehill GK Eric Schott.

Late in the second half, the Pioneers were awarded a free kick following a Stonehill foul just beyond the top of the box.  Austboe curled a low shot into the right corner for a 3-1 lead, ensuring the Pioneer would remain undefeated on the season.

The Pioneers owned a 21-13 shot advantage and a 9-5 corner kick edge.  Jorgensen made one stop in goal in earning his sixth win of the season, while Schott made three stops.

C.W. Post remains at home as it hosts Philadelphia on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m.
