No. 2 West Chester Shoots Past No. 9 Field Hockey, 4-1

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 21, 2011) – Nicole Fiorilla scored two goals, including the game-winner to lift No. 2 West Chester over No. 9 C.W. Post in a PSAC East field hockey contest Wednesday afternoon on Hickox Field.
West Chester improves to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in PSAC East play while C.W. Post slips to 4-2 and 1-1 in conference play.
The Pioneers took a 1-0 lead just over two minutes into the game when freshman forward
Lyn-Marie Wilson (St. Michael's, Barbados) scored her first collegiate goal on a rebound shot into the right corner on a pass from senior defender

The Golden Rams tied the game 10 minutes later when Kayla Gluchowski scored on a 10-yard shot out front on a tip from Alisha Morgan. West Chester stole the momentum with back-to-back goals from Fiorilla at 24:57 and 27:47.
The Golden Rams put the final goal in in the 48th minute when Kayla Gluchowski fired a hard shot into the cage from the top of the circle on a penalty corner.
The Golden Rams outshot the Pioneers, 23-10, in the game and held a 13-4 advantage in penalty corners.
Kristin Arnold set aside five shots for her fifth win of the season.
