KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 27, 2011) - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its weekly poll, ranking C.W. Post men's soccer at No. 8, up two spots from last week.

The Pioneers posted two wins this week to improve to 8-0 on the season. In a 4-1 victory over Philadelphia, the Pioneers responded after going down 1-0 on a PK. Eivind Austboe's hat trick against the Rams led the way, and Marco Jorgensen posted four saves. In the conference opener for the Pioneers, they traveled to Bridgeport and came away with a 1-0 victory behind Cemil Turan's 75th minute goal. Jorgensen made seven saves in the shutout. The Pioneers travel to Dowling this Saturday for an evening game that showcases the ECC Champions of the past two seasons, as the Pioneers were 2009 champs and the Golden Lions won the conference in 2010.
