Molloy took an early lead with a goal by Dan Brown in the ninth minute, but the Pioneers responded in the 27th minute with Turan's first goal, coming as junior
Jonathan Watkin (Doncaster, England)
Turan scored again to give the Pioneers the lead as he took a short cross from junior
Eirik Bjoernoe (Randaberg, Norway) and one-timed the ball into the right corner.
Freshman
Matias Ruiz (Southampton, N.Y.) continued the Pioneers scoring with a 65th minute goal, rifling a free kick from 25 yards out into the top shelf for a 3-1 lead.
Just two minutes later, two freshmen teamed up as
Johan Wallin (Sollentuna, Sweden) played the ball into the box, finding
Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway) who redirected it into the net for a 4-1 advantage.
LIU Post held a tremendous 23-2 shot advantage, generating 10 corners.
