Men's Lacrosse Remains Seventh In Week 3 USILA Poll
PERRY, N.Y. (March 12, 2012) – The C.W. Post men's lacrosse team maintains its No. 7 ranking in this week's USILA Coaches poll, released on Monday.
The Pioneers defeated Bentley University, 13-7, in a non-conference match Saturday afternoon on Hickox Field.
Mercyhurst is in first place for the third straight week while LeMoyne, Dowling and Merrimack each moved up on spot to third, fourth and fifth, respectively. Limestone dropped from third to sixth after a 12-11 loss to Merrimack.
Behind C.W. Post was Seton Hall, who remained eighth. Mars Hill jumped two spots to ninth while NYIT fell one spot down to 10th. Chestnut Hill moved up one spot to 11th and Saint Anselm entered the poll ranked 12th.
Catawba, Wheeling Jesuit, Lake Erie, Tampa each received votes this week.
C.W. Post (3-1, 1-1 ECC) hosts Dowling this Saturday at 12 p.m. on Hickox Field.
