Field Hockey Receives SGI/NFHCA All-Academic Recognition
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 18, 2012) – The 2011 C.W. Post field hockey team was recognized as a 2011 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Collegiate National Academic Squad.
C.W. Post, who finished the 2011 season with a 10-8 overall record and qualified for the PSAC Tournament, boasted 11 players to the All-Academic squad.

Helene Bruckner (Port Jefferson, N.Y.),
Kathryn Godshalk (Hilton, N.Y.),
Heather Norris (Hilton, N.Y.),
Bethany Semlear (Sag Harbor, N.Y.), along with juniors
Kellie Finn (Goshen, Conn.),
Ashley Oracewski (Bayshore, N.Y.) and freshmen
Tara Dougherty (Wilmington, Del.),
Karina Fleming (Lindenhurst, N.Y.),
Katie Kadletz (East Brunswick, N.J.),
Sam McGarry (Holtsville, N.Y.) and
Michele Willenbrink (Oceanside, N.Y.) each posted a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester. Godshalk, Norris and Semlear were recognized as four-year award winners.
