BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Dec. 4, 2013) - Sophomore forward Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) and senior midfielder Jeanine Ambrogi (Greenlawn, N.Y.) of the LIU Post women's soccer team raked in more year-end honors Wednesday, claiming Daktronics All-America and NSCAA All-Region distinction.

Vistnes, an All-America third-team and All-Region first-team pick, paced the Pioneers and the East Coast Conference in goals (six) and scoring (34 points) in 2013. Those totals were also 15th- and 17th-best amongst the nation's statistical leaders. In addition, her seven game-winning tallies ranked atop the league as well.

Ambrogi, who claimed All-America honorable mention and All-Region second-team praise, was the green and gold's fifth-leading scorer at 10 points (4 G, 2 A). A pair of those markers proved to be deciding goals in 2-0 wins over Southern Connecticut State (Sept. 6) and Holy Family (Oct. 17).

Lastly, senior back Karina Rizzo (Oceanside, N.Y.) was selected to the NSCAA All-Region third-team. She anchored a defensive unit that held the opposition to a 0.72 goals-against average, which was the third-lowest clip in the ECC.
