(March 13, 2013) – After opening the day with a 1-0 win over Nyack College, the Pioneers suffered a loss at the hand of Palm Beach Atlantic University, 20-6. The Pioneers pitching staff issued 13 walks and the Sailfish pushed across 10 runs in the fifth inning to open up what was a 4-0 lead for Palm Beach Atlantic through the first four innings. Despite recording 14 hits, the Pioneers offense didn't get going until the eighth and ninth innings when they plated six runs. Steve Teitel knocked in two runs, while Casey McKay, Anthony Brunetti, Kevin Chenicek and David Saldana each added an RBI.
