KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 24, 2013) - The LIU Post men's soccer team held still at No. 2 in the latest NSCAA Division II Top-25 Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday.

Last week, the Pioneers picked up a pair of 2-1 victories to improve to 6-0 overall. They earned a hard-fought 2-1 overtime victory on Wednesday at Dowling, before defeating Millersville by the same count Saturday. Junior forward Eivind Austboe (Stavanger, Norway), the nation's second-leading scorer, had the game-winner in both contests.

For the second-straight week, Simon Fraser, which also owns a 6-0 clip, sat atop the tally. Rollins and Notre Dame (Ohio) respectively retained the third and fourth slots, while West Texas A&M jumped ahead three notches from No. 8 to round out the Top-5.

In addition to LIU Post, the East Coast Conference had one other program join the Top-25 discussion this week. Mercy moved up six spots from 24th to 18th.

Head Coach Andreas Lindberg's Pioneers are back in action Wednesday (Sept. 25), when they welcome Philadelphia to Brookville, N.Y. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
