KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Dec. 17, 2014) - On Wednesday, LIU Post junior forward Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) was named to the 2014 NSCAA College Division Scholar All-America second-team.

Vistnes has seen her share of accolades pile up during her three years at LIU Post. Her 3.48 grade-point average as a Biology major also earned her Capital One Academic All-District honors earlier this season.

On the field, the Randaberg, Norway native has been showered with honors.

Last month, Vistnes, a back-to-back NSCAA All-America third-team choice (2012 & 2013), was named the 2014 Daktronics Division II East Region Player of the Year,.

Vistnes, a three-time East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year honoree and All-ECC first-team selection, aided the Pioneers in winning the 2014 East Coast Conference regular-season title, and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship. She tallied 19 goals and 11 assists for a 49-point output.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America recognizes select collegiate student-athletes as 2014 NSCAA Scholar All-Americans for their dual accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.
