Men's Lacrosse Remains Fourth in USILA Division II Ledger
PERRY, N.Y. (Feb. 25, 2014) - Following a season-opening 17-5 rout of Saint Anselm on Saturday, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team stayed fourth in the USILA Division II Poll, released Monday night. The Pioneers also maintained the same position in Lacrosse Magazine's Top-15 census.
In the USILA rankings, the Top-5 remained unchanged from the preseason poll, as Le Moyne, Mercyhurst, Adelphi, LIU Post and Limestone all held their ground. Seton Hill rose one spot to sixth, while Tampa made its 2014 debut at No. 7. Merrimack retained the eighth slot, with Pfeiffer, which jumped forward two notches, and Lake Erie rounding out the Top-10.
As for the Lacrosse Magazine poll, the Top-9 showcased no movement. Adelphi took its place atop the ledger for the second-straight week. Dowling, a 12-4 winner at Assumption on Saturday, and Merrimack each climbed one rung to 10th and 11th, respectively. NYIT fell two spots to 12th. Dominican (Calif.) joined the Top-15 conversation, and closed out the tally.

Chris Caiazza (Lindenhurst, N.Y.), paced both offenses in finding the back of the cage with five goals. Between the pipes, graduate netminder
