 - The college soccer season kicks off in a few weeks and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its Continental Tire preseason Top-25 rankings for Division II on Thursday. The LIU Post men's soccer team found itself ranked eighth heading into the 2014 campaign.

The Penmen of Southern New Hampshire, the reigning NCAA Division II National Champions, and runner-up Carson-Newman earned the respective No. 1 and No. 2 slots. Simon Fraser was third, while Rockhurst and Rollins completed the Top-5.

LIU Post return one of the team's two 2013 NSCAA All-America picks.
