NYACK, N.Y. (Sept. 13, 2014) - It was an 82nd-minute tally by freshman forward
Sarah Kang (Coram, N.Y.) that sent the LIU Post women's soccer team to a 1-0 win against Nyack on Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers (2-1) outshot Nyack (1-3), 31-1, and held the Warriors without a shot in the second half. LIU Post also maintained a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks throughout the 90 minutes.

Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway) found Kang for the one-touch goal, the first of her collegiate career, to give LIU Post the 1-0 edge. In net for the Pioneers, sophomore keeper
Hreffie Agnarsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) made one save to pick up her second victory of 2014.
