CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 14, 2015) - On Tuesday, LIU Post women's soccer junior goalkeeper Felicia Orderud (Gothenburg, Sweden) was named the East Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

She gave up just two goals in a pair of games last week. Orderud allowed one goal and made four saves in a 1-1 draw with Dowling College, before yielding one goal and stopping three shots in a 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire University.

So far this season, Orderud ranks second in the ECC in goals-against average (0.93) and fourth in goals against (7). Her 20 saves are good for 10th in the conference, as well.

Orderud and the Pioneers are back in action on Thursday (Oct. 15), when they host Philadelphia University in a non-conference match at Pioneer Soccer Park in Brookville. The opening kick is slated for 3 p.m.
