MANCHESTER, N.H. (Oct. 4, 2015) - On Sunday, the LIU Post football team wrapped up a three-game road trip with a 2-0 win versus Northeast-10 Conference foe Southern New Hampshire University at Larkin Field.

It is the fourth time this season that the Pioneers blanked their opposition. The win improved the green and gold to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in NE-10 play.

Following a scoreless first half, LIU Post got both of its goals in a span of 3:13 in the latter session.

First, sophomore defender Grace Ilias (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) broke the tie with a tally in the 49th minute, her fourth goal and third game-winner of the 2015 campaign.

Then, in the 53rd minute, senior forward Keliann Margiotta (Sewell, N.J.) tapped in a cross-pass from freshman forward Emily Miller (Bridgewater, N.J.) to tack on some insurance. The goal was Margiotta's second in her last three contests.

In the opening 35 minutes of play, junior goalie Ericka Parks (Nesconset, N.Y.) made all four of her saves in a 40-second stint to keep the Penmen (2-9, 0-6 NE-10) off the scoreboard.

Head Coach Raenee Savin and the Pioneers are back in action Wednesday (Oct. 7), when they host Adelphi University in an NE-10 tilt at 4 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y.
