CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 9, 2015) - On Monday night, six members of the LIU Post women's soccer team were chosen to the All-East Coast Conference roster, as released by the league office.

Senior forward Susanne Vistnes (Randaberg, Norway), freshman forward Andrea Huntzinger (Stockholm, Sweden) and junior back Kristin Brandman (East Northport, N.Y.) were tabbed as All-ECC first-team selections, while senior back Katie LaManna (Smithtown, N.Y.) and junior midfielder Julia Backman (Morsil, Sweden) earned second-team nods. Junior goalkeeper Felicia Orderud (Gothenburg, Sweden) was a third-team honoree.

Vistnes, a four-time All-ECC first-team selection, finished the regular season with an ECC-leading 43 points (18 goals, seven assists). Huntzinger ranked eighth in the conference and second on the team with eight goals.

Brandman, a two-time All-ECC first-team honoree, and LaManna anchored an LIU Post defense that allowed 14 goals through 18 regular-season games, a total that was second-best in the league.

Backman, a 2014 first-team selection, was third on the team with 17 points (eight goals, one assist). Orderud finished the regular season with an 11-1-2 record. Her 0.59 goals-against average was second-best in the ECC.

Head Coach Mark Dawson and his LIU Post squad are back in action on Friday (Nov. 13), when they take on Roberts Wesleyan College in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship in Bridgeport, Conn. The opening kick is slated for 1 p.m.
