BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Mar. 9, 2015) - As it ramps up for its national semifinal re-match at Adelphi, the LIU Post men's lacrosse remained second in the USILA and Lacrosse Magazine Division II rankings on Monday.
In the USILA tally, the Pioneers, who boast a 4-0 overall record, earned 139 points and one first-place vote. Limestone maintained its No. 1 spot in the poll with 146 points and eight first-place votes. Adelphi (No. 3), NYIT (No. 4) and Lake Erie (No. 5) also stood their ground to round out the Top-5.
Merrimack and Le Moyne respectively flip-flopped at No. 6 and No. 7. Tampa and Seton Hill individually remained eighth and ninth, while Molloy jumped forward two notches to 10th.
Like the USILA, the top-third of the Lacrosse Magazine poll stayed the same for a second-straight week. With Limestone leading the way, LIU Post, Adelphi, Lake Erie and NYIT followed in suit.
Merrimack trumped Tampa (No. 7) to take the No. 6 slot. Le Moyne stayed eighth, whereas Seton Hill and Mercy each moved ahead two spots to complete the Top-10.
