CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Mar. 11, 2016)
- The East Coast Conference recently gave out its post-championship awards for indoor track and field, and LIU Post had a combined six runners honored.

Junior Stefan Adams (Jamaica, N.Y.) earned two spots on the All-East Coast Conference First Team. He was recognized for his second-place showing (49.78) in the 400-meter dash and ran in the winning 4 x 400-meter relay, alongside fellow All-ECC first-teamers Kyle Ward (Elizabeth, N.J.), Kasim Thomas (Bronx, N.Y.) and Wayne Harris (Jamaica, N.Y.).

Red-shirt junior Mike Scott (Fultonville, N.Y.) also garnered All-ECC first-team notice, after clocking a first-place time of 8:42.97 in the mile run.

Ward, in addition to being named to the All-ECC First Team in the 4 x 400-relay, got a second-team nod in the long jump. He leapt to a fourth-place mark of 6.26 meters (20 feet, 6.5 inches) in the event.

For the women, sophomore Talya Williams (Schenectady, N.Y.) was the lone Pioneer to receive recognition. Her fourth-place finish (5:19.10) in the mile landed her a place on the All-ECC Second Team.

The LIU Post men's and women's indoor track and field teams have concluded the 2015-16 campaign. For more information, please continue to visit LIUPostPioneers.com.
