PERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 14, 2016) - After extending its winning streak to four games last week, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team ascended to No. 8 in Monday's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division II Top-20 Poll.
The Pioneers, who are now 4-2 on the year, continued its four-game road trip last week with a 16-3 win at Georgian Court University (Mar. 8) and a 9-7 victory at Molloy College (Mar. 13).

Ryan Slane (North Babylon, N.Y.) paced the Pioneer offense with 11 points (6 G, 5 A) in the two contests. Senior attackmen

Matty Beccaris (North Babylon, N.Y.) individually scored five and four goals and tallied seven points apiece.
Minding the cage, junior goaltender
Matthew Liantonio (Miller Place, N.Y.) boasted a 2-0 record with nine saves and a 4.67 goals-against average. He also posted a .562 save percentage in the process.
