BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 26, 2016) - On Friday, the LIU Post Department of Athletics had seven of its student-athletes recognized as part of the "Best of the Class of 2016", in a banquet conducted at the Hillwood Commons Lecture Hall.
"It was a very special day for LIU Post Athletics. It showed the tremendous impact that our players have, not only on the field and within the community, but in the classroom, as well," said Director of Athletics and Recreation
Bryan Collins. "We attended a "Best of the Class of 2016" ceremony, honoring the finest and brightest students in each school within the University. It was a great representation of the hard work that our student-athletes do."
In all, a total of 36 students were bestowed a campus-wide academic honor, seven of whom are Pioneer student-athletes. They were:
- College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- College of Management
- College of Education, Information and Technology
- College of Arts, Communications and Design
- School of Health Professions and Nursing
