Newly appointed head coach Eric Wolf recently sat with Inside Lacrosse's Editor-in-Chief Matt Kinnear. Wolf talks about his plans for the Pioneers, the influence of his former coach and boss Scott Marr and why the Thompsons had a profound effect on him. You can listen to the podcast here. 

Wolf took over at LIU Post this June, taking the reins from longtime coach John Jez to lead one of the program's synonymous with DII lacrosse. Wolf is no doubt a great hire for the Pioneers. His experience includes running offenses at Siena, Albany and Harvard and much more.

This candid conversation covers a lot of ground about Wolf's career and his plans for LIU Post. The influence of his former coach and boss Scott Marr is apparent when detailing the positive, fun approach he plans on taking to get LIU Post back into the championship conversation. One highlight of the podcast is a discussion of the Thompsons, who Wolf coached at Albany in the season in which Lyle and Myles won the Tewaaraton.
