HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - The LIU Post wrestling team faced the United States Air Force Academy on Friday night, taking an early lead but ultimately losing the match by a score of 25-12 at Hofstra University.

After the first five matches, the Pioneers held a lead of 12-9 after wins from Bobby Pease, Bryan Romero, and Joe Calderone.  After that, the Air Force Academy rallied back by winning the final five matches of the night to hand the green and gold a 25-12 defeat.

Next up for the Pioneers is a home match on Jan. 21 when they host NYU at the Pratt Recreation Center.
