BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The No. 6 LIU Post field hockey team fell 7-1 to No. 9 Stonehill College in a Northeast-10 Championship quarterfinal Tuesday at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
The Pioneers record moved to 13-5 and remains 12-3 in NE10 play.

Tarryn Morris was LIU Post's goal-scorer and senior
Emily Miller had one assist. Sophomore goalkeeper
Rachel Vellis recorded seven saves.
At 33:02 LIU Post scored the opening goal of the game; Miller dribbled down the right side and dished off to Morris to tapped the ball into the back left corner of the net. Morris' goal saw LIU Post a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Stonehill then scored seven goals in the second half to earn a 7-1 win.
